Study Sheets

Study sheets will not be sent home for the remainder of the school year. The next several weeks will include TDA practice, spring test preparation and practices, various no school days and other activities that will interrupt the day-to-day reading curriculum which would impact the effectiveness of the study sheets. Our reading lessons will continue, although sporadic at times. The same study materials will be made available on ConnectEd and this blog, so keep up the great study habits! Students, fourth quarter can feel like a whirlwind with all of the different activities and events, so please keep track of what's going on and ask questions if you're ever unsure.

Heritage Day

The heritage presentation assignment is an opportunity for students to talk to the class about what they discovered regarding the four questions on the heritage day sheet found below. How the students present the information is completely up to them. Some students are doing a slideshow, some are making a poster, some are bringing food, pictures, etc., but simply talking about their heritage is all that is expected. Anything beyond speaking about the four prompts on the sheet is worth five points of extra credit.
